“New restaurant opened by Tom Kenney and Tony Abdalla, the fellas that brought us Napa Flats. Atmosphere was excellent for our date night. Host and bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We started with the Escargot appetizer, which was fantastic. I had the Confit de Conard with succulent Brussels sprouts and fantastic whipped sweet potatoes. Great portion sizes!! We enjoyed a glass of MacMurray Pinot Noir which was suggested by the man himself, Tom Kenney. We finished the evening with Créme Brûlée which was a little bit of heaven!”

“Excellent French onion soup. Steaks were tender and juicy. Enjoyed the béarnaise sauce as well. I would definitely go back to the restaurant if we lived in that city. However, we still would go back soon.”

Maureen T.

“Nice little place. We started with the Raclette au Fromage. Fantastic! I wanted the lobster dish but they were out, so I got the pork chop instead. It was a large delicious portion paired with yummy collard greens and grits. We also ordered the Cordon bleu. So good! I will definitely come back for the lobster bisque.”

Amanda D.

“A great new find for us for brunch! I had the avocado toast and my wife enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Staff were incredible. It is hard to find a good brunch spot on Sundays that isn’t packed. Get to this one before the word gets out!”

Greg S.

“Delicious food that helps fill the “elevated food” void in BCS. The menu is extremely diverse without being overwhelming, and the flavors of each dish I’ve tried have been nuanced and well seasoned. I plan on coming back here in the future for special occasions or a nice night out.”

Rachael B.

“Dillon (the manager) and Alex (bartender) along with our server were absolutely phenomenal. We’ve been here several times and the food and drinks are consistently outstanding. We absolutely love Le Petit Cochon.”

Jason P.

“My boyfriend and I went to Le Petit Cochon for our anniversary and were not disappointed. The restaurant was small, cozy, and totally packed! We got the Baguette et beurre aux herbes to start, which was so delicious. I ordered the Bisque de Homard en Croûte and my boyfriend got the Bouillabaisse Fruits de Mer. The zesty lobster salad and bread points were definitely the highlight of the night. We also got one Créme Brûlée each, which was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was a little loud, but that’s to be expected with a full house. Will be back soon! Thank y’all for a great night, and amazing service. We know the owners are great people running an awesome business!”

Kea W.

“Went here for a post-graduation lunch and what a charming atmosphere!! Delicious menu and LOVED the lemon tart. Great service from the waiter who helped us choose from the menu. We weren’t disappointed!”

Victoria C.

“Wow, so glad we tried this place! Great staff, iced tea was smooth, beef bourguignon was packed with flavor, love that they give you extra sauce with dessert, forgot to take pictures because we just dug in, and butter baguette came with a little honey comb in a jar!”

Rain S.

“Le Petit Cochon brings upscale authentic French cuisine to College Station. I have lived around the world and have found no better food or service than Le Petit Cochon. Appetizers, entrees and desserts, including French Press coffee are authentic, freshly made, and will transport your culinary senses to a Parisian Bistro — and a reasonable price for the experience. Your only disappointment will be in not being able to eat everything on the menu. Eat there. You will not be disappointed.”

James H.

“Every dish was delicious, the service was excellente and the Chef greeted us hahaha ;) The price is good for the quality of ingredients/food. of course I’ll be back :)”

Mariana R.

“We finally made it here for dinner and are now thinking about coming at least bi-weekly, if not weekly. I love escargot and theirs did not disappoint. Huge serving and with the bread, this could have been an entree. My husband’s onion soup came with scissors because the cheese was so thick. He had the trout as his entree and I had the Shrimp Etoufee Pasta, so will happily have it again tomorrow night. Our only regret was that we couldn’t begin to make room for dessert. The wait staff was attentive, but not overly so and the manager was walking the restaurant, making sure everything was going well. We will definitely be back.”

Marilyn H.

“Absolutely superb! Unexpectedly excellent French food right here in College Station, TX. The French onion soup is the best I have ever had - even better than soup I had in France! Service was great. From our waiter, Zac, to the owner, Tom, we were well cared for. The ambiance is intimate but not claustrophobic. Overall, a great way to have dinner. My highest recommendation.”

Brian D.

“Nearly as perfect as a restaurant can be. Food, service, choice and setting are all top notch.”

Richard S.

“My sister and I had lunch at Le Petit Cochon today and it was phenomenal. We both had the onion soup and it was the best ever. I had the chicken cordon bleu and she had the croque monsieur…both dishes were excellent. Super cute place too with friendly service. 10/10 wholeheartedly recommend.”

Kimberly L.

“This place is incredible!!! The food is absolutely over the top delicious and I have yet to have any of the entrees that didn’t surpass my previous choices. I tip my hat to the chefs!!!!! Bon Appetite!!”

Tim B.

“We enjoyed our meal. Julia Child would be proud.”

Robert S.

“I loved the experience and the food. We were seated in a cozy area where we had a nice view of the surroundings. Our server was kind and attentive. The food was absolutely lovely. From burger and fries to decadent french toast, it was all delicious.”

“Absolute gem for College Station, a place for nice casual AND upscale dining…from celebrations and date nights to routine brunch and happy hour; this place is special. Corrita was a wonderful server (staff was excellent), the manager AND the chef visited with all the guests, food was perfect. Our group had trout, salmon, shrimp pasta, and lobster (claw) bisque en croquette after starting with the raclette and Lyonnaise onion soup. Not inexpensive, but an excellent value for the food, service, and dining experience. Well done to the entire restaurant team on growing another successful and great venue in the Brazos Valley!”

“Try out the new my wife said and my mom said I wanna try out that new pig place. So for mom’s birthday we took her to Le Petit Cochon. We started with raclette au fromage . It was two generous slices of toasted French bread with melted cheese. They toasted the cheese on the wheel and scrapped it table-side onto the bread. It was great and would have been enough for a share among 5 people easily. We then had the Gratinee lyonnaise or French onion soup, another huge hit. It was thick and semi-sweet with a bouquet of fresh onion. The cheese was amazing, sticky and stringy — exactly what you would expect. Best of all it wasn’t salty, a crime committed to most French onion soups. We then had the salad hachee. Delicious! Fresh, crisp, and with a tangy finish and the blue cheese was high quality creamy and delicate for a blue cheese. We had the duck, the fish stew and the pork chop for the mains. The duck was a generous serving of breast along with a leg quarter on sweet potato purée. Best duck I have eaten in years. The Bouillabaisse (fish stew) had an ample amount of shrimp, mussels, clams, and two tires of fish, salmon and a white fish. It was served with 6 large croutons to soak up the tomato based soup. It was thin but robust with a hint of Rosemary and garlic. The pork chop was also served with sweet potato purée. We finished it off with profiteroles. I could have started and ended with that dessert. The chocolate sauce was exquisite - creamy, rich, thick, and robust. I rarely give 5 stars. Usually the food quality is great but the price is outlandish or the quantity requires a stop off at a favorite fast food restaurant on the way home. But this was just right. Portions were generous and the food quality was extraordinary. Compared to other local restaurants this was a value 5⭐️ restaurant. You would have paid twice the price at Christopher’s or Ronin’s.”

Robert C.

“I got the chicken dinner for four take-home packages. It was plentiful and everything was fresh and delicious. I will certainly be back.”

“We went to LPC on a Saturday evening (with reservations) and were seated right away. We started off with the French onion soup which was what dreams are made of. It was amazing. Then we moved on to the pork chop and smoked grits and cordon bleu. Both were really good. We live in Houston and decided we liked the restaurant so much we would make a day trip to College Station/Bryan just to go to LPC. The only negative (which the food made up for) was it seemed once we received our food we had a hard time getting our waitress's attention and it was also very cold where we were sitting. Both of those can be remedied while you are there. Overall, great food and would definitely return.”

Jerri S.

“Delightful lunch for our first visit. Great atmosphere. Enjoyed tableside French press coffee Luncheon portion is generous and delicious. Am glad we arrived just as they opened as I am certain they get very busy.”

Nancy S.

“Inspired by a daughter who is in France right now, those of us in Texas decided to try Le Petit Cochon. It was amazing. I wouldn’t normally have soup in summer, but the French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had. The chicken cordon blue was excellent too. I took about half home to save room for the delicious dessert. Loved every bite!”

Jim L.

“We enjoyed a delightful Sunday brunch at le Petit Cochon. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the wait staff was attentive, but not intrusive. The food was ideally prepared to each individual’s preferences and delivered with style, and no ‘food auctions’. [The server did not come to the table and say “who had the salad with salmon?” waiting for someone at the table to raise their hand. ] Instead, the food is politely delivered with a kind “bon appétit”. Our water cups and pitcher were kept fall the entire meal, and when any additional items are brought to the table it was again politely, and not interrupt service, atmosphere, delicious food reasonably priced makes Le Petit Cochon, a true winner for the Brazos Valley. Bravo!!”

Ann B.

“LOVE the duck confit. Great aperitifs as well. I mean, it's french food. It's going to be good. Also, they do it well. I'm going to eat so many ducks here.”

Douglas C.

“Loved the food! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Enjoyed dining there!”

“Le Petit Cochon in College Station is an absolute hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get. From the moment I stepped into this charming restaurant, I knew I was in for a delightful culinary experience. Let’s start with the duck confit. Words cannot do justice to the succulent and tender meat that practically melted in your mouth. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dish was expertly prepared. It was a true masterpiece that left me craving more. Next up, the steak tartare. Le Petit Cochon takes this classic dish to a whole new level. The finely chopped beef was incredibly fresh and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was a burst of flavors that danced on my palate. It was a true delight for any steak lover. The tomato salad was a refreshing addition to my meal. The tomatoes were juicy and ripe, accompanied by a light, tangy dressing that enhanced their natural sweetness. It was a perfect complement to the richness of the other dishes. Lastly, the raclette. Oh, the raclette! This ooey-gooey cheese dish was the epitome of indulgence. The melted cheese was accompanied by a variety of flavorful accouterments and was a true delight. It was like a warm and comforting hug in every bite. The service at Le Petit Cochon was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall wonderful experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place for a memorable dining experience. We even had a special visit from the owner Tom Kenney. His passion for the restaurant and the experience of his diners was truly apparent, and visiting with him was a true delight. Tom jokes that he is the head bus boy, but I’d say he deserves far more credit than that! His restaurants in college station have become a staple for our family. Le Petit Cochon truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the mouthwatering dishes to the impeccable service, it is a culinary haven that should not be missed. I cannot wait for my next visit to College Station to indulge in their delightful creations once again.”

Joseph C.

“Great food with amazing service! The owner was delightful. I love the atmosphere! Very polished staff. Tonight was our third visit. Each a bit better because we are a bit less intimidated over a menu that truly is not complicated or intimidating. The owner is so delightful and welcoming. The wait staff is professional, polished, knowledgeable and oh so accommodating. Better than most restaurants I have visited in big cities around the country. Kudos to an innovative chef, owner and amazing wait staff! Delicious. Yum!”

Linda F.

“Wonderful dining experience. The service and entrees were wonderful. We will be back!”

Brenda N.

“We had a fantastic evening at Le Petit Cochon. The food was wonderful and our waitress was great. Will be back for another date night in the future!”

Kelli G.

“Great spot for a nice dinner out. Really good food! I love the baguette and butter, but everything we’ve tried is delicious.”

Haylee B.

“I’ve always thought the best Indian food outside of India is on Brick Lane, London. However, equally on par I can now add to this thought and say the best French dining outside of France is Le Petit Cochon in College Station. Don’t be afraid to try something of the menu like the quiche of the day. For a quiche lover this is is a destination quiche. Nothing out there like it. And if you’re lucky enough to have Debra take care of you. Superb service and extremely lovely. Let’s say if you went in happy you’ll stay happy. If you went in sub par you’ll leave happy. Ps. The Lemon Tart is legendary.”

J S.

“We have enjoyed Sunday brunch at this restaurant - we have been with the grandchildren, we have been with friends and we both loved the experience of the great wait staff! Great food, love the mimosa package!” … “They have a great menu selection and I am very impressed.”

Lauren H.

“Updating my review to 5 stars! Came back on Sunday. Very busy but the service was still fantastic and attentive. The Eggs Benedict is so good. The chefs here really know how to make a rich, thick, hollandaise sauce. Also very clean bathroom!”

Rory L.

“Everything we ate was delicious! would recommend it to any visiting College Station. Get the Crème Brûlée.”

Jade L.

“Been a couple of times now and each time has been excellent. Didn’t think College Station could have a French menu this delicious. Looking forward to my next visit.”

Troy K.

“My husband and I went on a date night here and absolutely loved it! We had the steak tartare as an appetizer and it was divine. We assumed the portions would be small, but we were mistaken! So much food. We also ordered the French onion soup to share and it was the best we’ve both ever had. Definitely going to get that again! For our entrees we had the pork grillé and the Bouillabaisse. Both 10/10. The collared greens and grits with the pork chop were the perfect combo. We left feeling stuffed! Our waitress Debra was amazing also, and so helpful. We will for sure be back!”

Kendra W.

“Yum! What a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Mark, went above and beyond to take care of our group of five. It’s such a treat to have a delicious brunch coupled with the type of service and atmosphere Le Petit Cochon offers. I hope your experience is as great as ours.”

Marcos A.

“Friends lunch celebrating birthday. Nice long visit and never felt rushed. Bloody Mary was yummy as well as quiche of the day w/ salad and potatoes. Waitress brought out complementary crème brûlée with three spoons. Perfect ending sweet waitress.”

Pam U.

“This is such a lovely restaurant. It’s extremely clean, open, the tables are not crowded together, and it’s pretty quiet, although we were there early. The decor is great. The food and the service was outstanding. My friend ordered the lobster bisque and I had the almond trout with delicious roasted potatoes. Our waiter told us it was our lucky night because their vanilla soufflé was available. Apparently that is not on the menu on a regular basis. He was right - it was phenomenal! The owner came to our table and asked how everything was as we were finishing up. I will definitely come back, and I will be sure to tell everyone just how wonderful this sophisticated gem is.”

Kathryn H.

“Wonderful little restaurant in College Station in an unassuming location along the freeway. The service is excellent as is the food. The Saturday/Sunday brunch is excellent and I was not disappointed at all. The croissant is probably one of the best, and flakiest, I’ve ever had in the US. They have limited seating, so I highly encourage making reservations.”

Nick S.

“We wanted to do something special for our 10 year anniversary. We thought, “How about that new French restaurant in College Station? And wow, did we hit a winner! This food was like what you’d expect if you really went to France! Everything was fantastic! I stop short of mentioning the names of the dishes because I can’t speak French! But for real, you will love this place!!!”

Scott C.

“This place is a breath of fresh air as far as available restaurants go in BCS. I have now been several times and each time I have been thoroughly impressed by the food and the staff. There is someone that really knows what they’re doing in that kitchen, its rare to love every dish you order at a restaurant and so fare The Little Pig is batting. 1000. Do yourself a favor and go. Must haves: Bone Marrow, Steak Tartare, Roasted Chicken, Duck Confit. The sweet potatoes with the duck might be the best I will ever eat.”

Chance B.

“Fist time and we’re very impressed by the experience. Romantic atmosphere if you go later int he night. Earlier and it’s a great place to visit with friends. The food tells a story of the French cuisine being introduced to America. There is a variety of food and it was all so good. They also have nightly specials and happy hour.”

Christine A.

“Le Petit Cochon offers an exquisite dining experience, a true delight for food enthusiasts. The lunch menu shines with the Croque Monsieur and French Dip, both of which are executed to perfection. The accompanying fries are a standout, wonderfully crispy and flavorful. For dinner, the bone marrow and veal cordon bleu are particularly noteworthy, offering a rich and satisfying taste. The steak bavette is another highlight, cooked to tender perfection. The cocktail selection compliments the meals beautifully, each with a unique and pleasing blend of flavors. Overall, Le Petit Cochon impresses with its culinary finesse and is a must-visit for those seeking high-quality, delicious fare.”
